More Hen Party FAQs Is Norfolk Beach House suitable for a hen party weekend? Yes! Our luxury self-catering beach house on the North Norfolk coast is an excellent choice for hen parties. With direct beach access, a private hot tub, sauna, and spacious living areas, it offers the perfect mix of relaxation, pampering, and celebration in a beautiful coastal setting — ideal for groups who want something more chilled and memorable than a busy city break. And don't worry, there's plenty to do if you need activities, or you can just chill at the house, play table tennis, fuzzball, or make sandcastles and giant signs on the beach all very Instagram-worthy. How many people can the beach house sleep for a hen do? The house comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests across 7!bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. This makes it perfect for larger hen groups, multi-generational celebrations, or hens who want plenty of space to spread out and get ready together. We recommend a good number for Hen parties is 8 to 12 guess this gives them all plenty of space and you can see 12 around the dining table. Outside we also have an alfresco dining table overlooking the sea which seats up to 14. What hen-party-friendly features does the property offer? Highlights include a large private hot tub with sea views, expansive open-plan living and dining areas, a well-equipped kitchen, smart TVs, and a games area. Oh, and lodge fire in the drawing room. There’s ample off-road parking and direct access to the beach for morning walks or photoshoots. Many hens love using the space for pre-drinks, group pampering sessions, and sunset gatherings. What is the minimum stay for a hen weekend? We recommend a minimum 2- or 3-night stay for hen parties, especially over weekends. Two nights tend to be popular of peak season but sadly we can’t do one night. If you’re looking for a midweek price, we can also accommodate this — just contact us with your dates and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Are there any house rules for hen parties? Hen parties are very welcome. We simply ask that you respect the peaceful beach location by keeping noise levels reasonable after 11pm. No smoking indoors, no fireworks or sparklers on the deck, and a refundable security deposit is required to cover any accidental damage. What activities are available nearby for a hen party? North Norfolk has plenty to offer: beach yoga and paddleboarding, coastal walks, spa days, boat trips from nearby harbours, and excellent pubs and restaurants. We can recommend and help arrange popular add-ons such as mobile spa therapists, private chefs, art classes, life drawing, cocktail making classes, or wine tasting experiences. Is the property fully self-catering? Yes. The large kitchen is equipped with multiple ovens, fridges, dishwashers, and everything you need for group catering or a catered meal delivery. Many groups enjoy cooking together on the Aga or having a private chef come in for a special dinner. How far in advance should we book? For peak summer dates, bank holidays, and popular weekends we strongly recommend booking 6–12 months in advance. Booking early gives you the best choice of dates and allows time to organise any add-on experiences. Also, booking direct gives you an immediate 12% discount on our published prices, so it's always good to come direct, especially if you're planning a Norfolk hen do. Do you offer any hen party packages? While we don’t have rigid packages, we work with local suppliers to offer tailored extras such as welcome hampers, prosecco on arrival, mobile beauty treatments, photographers, and more. Just let us know your ideas and budget and we’ll help put something special together. Is the beach house suitable for hens who want a relaxed break? Absolutely. Many groups specifically choose Norfolk for a more relaxed, rejuvenating hen weekend. You can enjoy long beach walks, sunrise yoga, hot tub evenings, and quality time together without the intensity of a city hen party. We also find hen parties like the chilled atmosphere of a coastal home, and they tend to save a lot of money by organising in-house events and activities, including fun stuff like: - murder mystery - board game challenges - beach competition - crabbing - sand castle competition - croquet on the lawn - or quizzes and Treasure hunts All ways to save you money.
