Where to eat out in North Norfolk

The Ship
Mundesley
Our local pub offering good pub food and has a cool 'The Catch' fish and chip shop. Great location in front of the beach and features a slipway straight onto the beach. Located between Meadow and Admiral House, closer to Admiral.

The Suffield Arms
Gunton Station 4m
The second pub for famous art dealer Ivor Braka of the Gunton Arms fame, its set to be the 'go to' pub after a 1M refurb. Expect a cool & quirky interior, great wine and beers and tapas, plus a fantastic walled garden.

Shambles Cafe
North Walsham 4m
Shambles Cafe Bar Bistro is a fantastic family run coffee house and restaurant. Situated in the heart of North Walsham and serves locally sourced, fresh cooked food, with a Mediterranean / Middle Eastern twist. https://www.shamblescafenorfolk.co.uk
Don't forget to check out the antique centre and Timeline Antiques in North Walsham.

Groveland Farm Shop
Roughton 6m
En route to Aylsham you can stop at the Groveland Farm Shop Located in a traditional Norfolk flint barn, the complex includes a restaurant & coffee shop, delicatessen, butchery, wine cellar, garden centre & gift shop, craft shop, car wash, hair & beauty salon, ladies boutique, plus shelves brimming with fresh local fruit and vegetables.

Holt
Georgian Mkt Town 17m
Famed for its boutiques, antique shops, art galleries and cafe's, Holt is a must stop destination and can be combined with a trip to the coast stopping at Cley and Blakeney. But to be honest you can spend a whole day here exploring (head down the back streets). Top places to shop for produce are North Norfolk Fish Co ,wine at Bakers and Larners and enjoy a coffee at Byfords.
If you like Antiques you'll love Holt.
Bayfield Hall Stables then a coffee at Art Cafe

The Dun Cow
Salthouse 15m
This is my favourite drive to pub, as it's about 15 miles away, but wow what a drive. Take the A148 past Cromer to Holt and then drop down to the coast road (A149) in Sheringham towards Blakeney, you will pass it in Salthouse. Work up an appetite by walking around Blakeney or around Cley. But enough said, great location, stunning view, great food, lovely interior, good service.
